PTIO’s first BIG fundraiser for the 2023-24 school year was a runaway success, after a slow start. In the end, parents, family, and friends helped SRE students raise more than $34,000 to support Saddle Ranch Elementary School!
Thank you so much to everyone who donated and encouraged your family and friends to support our school! Thanks to your generosity, we surpassed our goal of $25,000 – together!
Raising these funds means that PTIO will be able to grant funding requests from the school to provide buses for field trips for each grade level! And, after investing more than $27,000 back into our school earlier this year, PTIO will be able to continue to support the school in purchasing materials and activities through the remainder of the year, so that these expenses don’t have to come out of the school’s central budget, and our school administration can then focus its budget on staffing and supporting the programming at the school.
Reaching the school fundraising goal also meant that the kids got to watch many of their teachers run a “masked relay” in inflatable costumes!

And, there are still more rewards to come because EVERY classroom earned a classroom party which means the students are deciding this week if they are going to have a donut, cookie OR a pizza party the week of Nov. 6th.
Mrs. Solley’s 2nd Grade classroom earned the top spot – raising $3,245, together!! Mrs. Herrin’s Kindergarten class also gets high praise for having the highest average donation per student in the school! As a reward to these two classrooms, the students get to “silly-string” Mr. Renker very soon. Stay tuned for those pictures!
